7 Ways to Fix IPTV Buffering and Get Smooth Playback
Buffering is frustrating, but it is almost always caused by your local setup rather than the service itself. Work through these fixes and you will usually solve it fast.
1. Check your speed
Run a speed test. You want at least 15 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps+ for stable 4K.
2. Use a wired connection
Ethernet is far more stable than Wi-Fi. If you can plug in your device, do it.
3. Restart your router
A simple reboot clears up a surprising number of streaming issues.
4. Close background apps
Other devices downloading or streaming will eat your bandwidth. Pause them during playback.
5. Update your player
Old app versions can cause playback problems. Keep your IPTV player up to date.
6. Try a different DNS
Switching to a public DNS like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 can improve routing.
7. Contact support
If it still buffers, message us. We can check server load and switch you to a faster line.
